YourFirstSearch Terms and Conditions

YourFirstSearch (http://www.yfs.co.uk) is owned and operated by S.E.Easy Limited, a limited company registered in Ireland (registered number 473196).

Terms of Service

The terms set out in the terms of service for YourFirstSearch constitute the only terms and conditions under which S. E. Easy Limited t/a YourFirstSearch ("YourFirstSearch") enters into an agreement with a customer. No employee or agent of YourFirstSearch is authorised to agree to or effect any alterations to the Terms. The contract for the provision of services shall be concluded only when YourFirstSearch has notified the customer of its acceptance of the customer's first payment.

The customer agrees to pay an initial fee upon entering into this agreement by credit card. Any subsequent monthly fees due are made in arrears by recurring credit card transaction and are due on the same day each month. In the event of the customer failing to make a monthly payment on the due date YourFirstSearch is entitled to cease working on behalf of the customer until all overdue sums are paid.

The customer may terminate this agreement at the end of the trial period (the trial period being up to and including 1 month from the date the account was activated), or at any time thereafter with one final payment being due on the following payment date.

YourFirstSearch may terminate this agreement at any time if: a) the customer's website contains any material which is illegal, pornographic, racially abusive or is likely to cause offence or to damage the reputation of YourFirstSearch; b) the customer commits any material breach of this agreement; c) the customer enters into liquidation whether compulsory or voluntary, has a receiver or administrator appointed, enters into any arrangement with its creditors or ceases or threatens to cease to trade.

Under this agreement YourFirstSearch will add a Premium Business Listing to Your First Search UK business directory, www.yfs.co.uk. Your Premium Business Listing will be optimised for your selected phrase/phrases. The customer will be invoiced each month for each phrase, covered under this agreement, which appears on page 1 of www.google.co.uk.

All notices must be in writing to 61 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, Ireland or Centurion House, 129 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 3WR or by email to webmaster@yfs.co.uk. Notices to the customer will be considered validly given if addressed to the customer's address or such other address as is advised by the customer.

Privacy Policy

YourFirstSearch is committed to protecting the privacy of our users by keeping all personal information that we collect secure and by only using such data for the purpose(s) for which it was collected and for which we have our users' consent. These cover the storage and disclosure of any information you provide.

Credit card transactions are all encrypted before transactions take place to protect your personal details. YourFirstSearch will validate your name, address and any other personal information supplied by you during the order process to ensure your credit or debit card is not being used without your consent. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being carried out.

While our objective is to provide the most comprehensive UK directory of people and businesses we also respect the choice of people to be removed from particular published databases.

Using yfs.co.uk

YourFirstSearch allows you to search for goods and services and to contact any of the organisations as listed.

You may not use the website to create, check, confirm, update or amend your own or someone else's database, records, directories, customer lists, mailing or prospecting lists; provide any kind of commercial information service or for any other commercial reasons.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files based on your hard drive each time you access a website. YourFirstSearch may use cookies to facilitate your internet sessions, to maintain security and to improve our Site. (You can disable cookies on your computer by changing the settings in preferences or options in your menu browser.)

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Data is provided "as-is" and "as and when available" without any warranties of any kind. YourFirstSearch makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy of the data or links supplied, nor is YourFirstSearch responsible for the content of any of the websites for whom links are provided. YourFirstSearch does not vouch for the suitability of data contained; some areas of YourFirstSearch may not be suitable for all audiences and may contain material that may not be legal to certain persons.

YourFirstSearch shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of inability to use the website, material within the website or any website to which YourFirstSearch provides a link by any user or third party.

YourFirstSearch reserves the right to disclose at its discretion any information necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, governmental request or legal investigation.

By agreeing to these terms the user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless YourFirstSearch, its directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, actions or demands without limitation. This indemnity shall survive termination of the agreement to these terms.

YourFirstSearch or any other organisation involved in created or maintaining the website will not be liable for any loss of: information; profits; business or business opportunities; or use of corrupted information.

Users of YourFirstSearch should check the qualifications of people, companies and organisations offering the goods or services advertised in their listing. We are not an agent, we do not give guarantees for those organisations listed and YourFirstSearch does not accept responsibility for the accuracy of any listing.

Your acceptance of our Terms

By using YourFirstSearch you signify your acceptance of our Privacy Policy. If we make any changes to our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our terms of use page. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time.

Continued use of our service following the posting of any changes will signify acceptance of those changes.
